The importance of keeping active is crucial in promoting positive mental health and wellbeing, and we strive to be able to facilitate this for everyone through our wide range of exercise classes, our Swimming Pool and Gym.

Relaxation is also vitally important. It helps us feel good and sleep better. According to the mental health charity MIND, Good sleep is linked to mental health. The unpredictable nature of these times means that taking the opportunity to unwind and look after ourselves is paramount. Visiting our Spa and Hair Studio and taking part in gentle fitness like our Yoga, Tai Chi, Stretch Tone and Relaxation classes can help you relax. We also provide Reflexology and Reiki in our list of Spa Treatments.

Strict health and safety protocols to keep all areas of the Club Covid-secure are in place and continually reviewed and we have genuinely been pleased to receive continued feedback (via our feedback forms in the Club and posts on Facebook) from our Members and visitors about how safe and happy they feel being able to continue their health and fitness journey with us.

UK Active has published research on safety of gyms and leisure facilities, and states: “The findings support a growing evidence base from across the globe showing that COVID-19 has a low prevalence in the gym environment.”
