Yes. The Hair Studio, Spa, Gym, Swimming Pool and Arena open. The Bistro is due to reopen. Please visit our Health and Safety section for details of our Covid 19 Protocols and the services available to you. In light of the Coronavirus Pandemic you may find some temporary changes to our usual services.
The current Health and Safety Protocols have been carefully considered and put in place in light of the Coronavirus pandemic. It is our aim to keep everyone as safe as possible while providing somewhere for you to relax, keep fit and feel good. We are strictly following Government guidance and will reassess the conditions of our services regularly with the aim of getting you back to enjoying the Club, as usual, as soon as possible, when it is safe to do so.
All guests and Members are required to book ahead before visiting Acresfield Health Club & Spa.

Please note, you need to pre-book a one hour session to use the Gym and Pool as part of our new booking system.
Club Members can also book Gym and Swimming sessions online using the Members login.
Due to the current pandemic we are experiencing a high demand for our services. Sessions and appointments more spaced out due to our escalated cleaning regime. We apologies for any inconvenience this brings.
Should you need to cancel your visit, please do so as soon as you are able to so that we may offer it to someone else. Last minute bookings are sometimes possible and we provide regular details of availability in our email newsletter and occasionally on our Facebook page.
For the safety of Club users we are limiting access to the Changing Room and Shower facilities to people using the Swimming Pool.
Towels are provided for Spa guests only. Gym users and swimmers are asked to bring their own towels.
The Spa, Bistro and Hair Studio are open to Non Members. Classes are also bookable 24 hours in advance to members of the public subject to availability. The Gym and Aquatics Suite are exclusively for Club Members.
Guest passes are available for Members to purchase at Reception. Guests must be accompanied at the Club by a Club Member. Members will now need to ring up to book their guest in, register as a client and then book a swim or gym session at the same time as their guests. Please arrive and pay for your guest. Please note, cash payments are not accepted at present.
NHS and emergency services staff qualify for a membership discount.
At the Hair Studio people age 60 and over receive 10% off all bookings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

In response to the Coronavirus pandemic all Gift Vouchers will be valid for 12 months. This extension includes all vouchers purchased on or after 24/12/19 (expiry 24/06/20). Vouchers due to expire on 01/06/2020 will be valid for a further six months, expiring on 01/12/2020. Please notify the Reception team of your voucher issue number when you call to book your treatment.
Yes. We have opened the Swimming Pool because it is safe to do so. The pool is disinfected with chlorine and UV Light. Further more, Swim England and PWTAG state that Covid-19 is not transmissible through swimming pool water.
Currently, the Swimming Pool and Experience Shower are the only Aquatics facilities open. The sauna and steam room are closed.
Swimming lessons at Acresfield are organised by Swim Active. Classes are open to all ages with up to six participants at a time. For information and bookings please email Ian Kirk on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Of course! We welcome children and babies to use the Swimming Pool when accompanied by an adult (Club Member). Due to our updated Health and Safety Protocol and new booking system we ask that all children and babies are registered as a client in order to book them in. All visits to the Pool must be pre-booked and during our ‘family session’ hours.
Arena / Fitness Classes
Please arrive in your workout clothing ready for your class. At present you are kindly asked to bring your own drink with you and your own exercise mat, if needed.
Towels and robes are provided when necessary.
Due to the current protocols that we have in place in light of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic we are unable to offer Spa Days. We hope to be able to do so as soon as possible.
Our usual beauty treatments for face, eyes and eyebrows are currently unavailable.
Payments were suspended in response to the temporary closure of the Club. Facilities have reopened and therefore they shall resume soon. All Members will be contacted directly via email with fulls details of this.
There has been no increase in Membership prices this year. Prices will remain the same. The protocols which are currently in place have been made for the safety of everyone so that your visit can continue with peace of mind.
It’s our intention that the new booking service for the Gym and Pool will mean that sessions are only limited for a short period of time and availability will become more frequent.
We are following Government guidance and the booking system we have will be seen similarly across the industry to ensure a safer environment for everyone. The reviewal of this and our entire Health and Safety Protocol is done frequently.
