To mark World Osteoporosis Day, Dawn Oliver, a voluntary speaker of the Royal Osteoporosis Society will be giving a talk at Acresfield for Members about how to build better bone health.

Half of women and 20% of men over 50 will break a bone because of Osteoporosis, but bone health is important throughout life.

The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) is the UK’s leading charity for bone health. It’s dedicated to helping everyone have better bone health and beating Osteoporosis. Part of their work to provide information on better bone health includes sharing weight-bearing impact and muscle strengthening exercises as well as details about nutrition for bones and expert support.

World Osteoporosis Day is October 20th and to help raise awareness Acresfield is hosting an informative presentation which will include a Q&A session.
